Student Spotlight: Makayla

Meet Makayla, a spunky 4th grader in our after school program. Makayla loves fashion and style, helping others and her teachers. Someday she wants to be a model and on occasion she will strike a sassy pose during our after school programming.

BK:  What is world Hunger?

M:  "Someone being hungry. The whole world is a lot of people being hungry.

BK:  What do you think will make the world a more awesome place?

M:  No guns, no shooting.

BK:  If you had all the money in the world what would you do with it?

M:  Invite all my family and friends to go on a road trip to a beach. Myrtle Beach actually.

BK:  What brings you the most happiness?

M:  Dogs.

BK:  What is the hardest thing to do?

M:  What's that thing where you study maps?

BK:  Cartography?
M:  Yeah, that!
