Tissue Paper Art

Last Thursday at New Artists the project of the day was to make something with tissue paper. The kids were given a square piece of colored card stock, a variety of tissue paper colors and some glue. Some kids chose to do more traditional collage style pieces, while others got creative and made some 3 dimensional works of art. They never cease to amaze me with the things they come up with, which makes for never ending excitement and anticipation on my part. Worked well for all ages, and didn't take long at all. I definitely recommend this project, especially if you're in a time crunch. Check out what they came up with this week:
