Andy Warhol Inspired Prints

Last Thursday at our New Artist's Program I did an Andy Warhol inspired project with my 4th and 5th graders. The assignment was to fold their paper into four sections, and then use foam stamps and paint to create a unique design. The kids were asked to make their design and then replicate it with different colors in each section of their papers. Some worked better than others, but a lot of kids just ended up painting their own designs which didn't work quite as well. Overall I think they had fun, but the project didn't go quite as well as I would have liked. Oh well, you live and learn right? Here are a couple of the final prints that turned out really well.
