Keep Cool with DIY Popsicles

We hope you are keeping cool this summer. Here is one way we have found to keep cool and have a healthy snack at the same time: Pour your leftover smoothie makings into posicle molds to be frozen overnight and served for snack the next day. The students love them! There are no extra sugars or foreign chemicals so you can feel good about giving them these frozen treats.
Our current favorite smoothie to make is Blueberries, Blackberries, almond milk and a little dallop of soy ice cream. It's a hit! Let your child be the designer of their food by making their own concoction from healthy options.
