New Artist Club is Back at Phillips!!

This week was the start of another year of our after school art program in Southside. This is my first year teaching the class and I have really been looking forward to it. Fifteen kids from Phillips Elementary are joining us to explore new styles and types of art. To start off the program each of the kids got to design their own art portfolio to keep all of their work in. We asked the kids to draw whatever comes to mind and to cover their folders as much as they could. Here is Javian showing off his work!

 It was great getting to know everyone, I can't wait to share all their work and to help them develop new skills! It will be a great year!
