Giving Thanks at ALEC

Earlier in November, Brashear Kids repainted the ALEC front windows so we could tell our neighbors what we're thankful for in anticipation of Thanksgiving.

On the day before Thanksgiving, we felt it would be prudent to change our window scene to reflect what follows this time of giving thanks.

In preemptively decorating a winter scene on the front windows we want to acknowledge that we are just as thankful for the many things we have, but we also want to provide a cheerful theme to contribute to this great community.

We decorate our windows for several reasons, the most important being these: our kids love to decorate and get messy, and by having fun with this they are also showing that we all have something to give, even if we do not always understand the ways in which we have given.

We hope you stay warm during these winter months!  We're thankful for everyone's support for ALEC and Brashear!
